India’s launches Hydrogen powered commercial passenger vessel
India’s first indigenous hydrogen fuel powered passenger vessel began commercial operations today, after it was flagged off on its maiden voyage by the Shipping & Ports Minster of the country, Mr. Sarbanand Sonowal. It operates on a Low Temperature Proton Exchange Membrane fuel cell system that converts stored hydrogen into electricity, releasing only water as a byproduct.
